“Supportive Independent Living in a Faith-Based Senior Community”

Linwood Community, A Ministry of Fox Valley Lutheran Homes is the ELCA  East Central Synod of Wisconsin service project this year.  There are many ways to share gifts in kind: postage, reams of paper, 500 piece puzzles, ground coffee, paper products, potting soil, paper towel, toilet paper. Gifts of money will be shared to refresh landscaping and plant trees, shrubs and flowers. Volunteer opportunities including participating in one of two work days in June, volunteering to teach an art class, play music, or serve a luncheon are also available. Linwood Community, a ministry of Fox Valley Lutheran Homes, is a non-profit ministry that is dedicated to providing independent living for those who are 62 or older. We are a loving Christian community with a caring staff whose mission is to nurture the physical, mental, social, and spiritual needs of tenants and their families. We work with each tenant to help them remain living in their own apartment as long as they are safe.

We provide a ministry of hope and help, aiming to end the isolation and invisibility that prevents moderate income elderly in the Fox Cities from accessing the support they need to live with independent dignity in the community.

Fox Valley Lutheran Homes, Inc. does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, gender, age, handicap, sexual orientation or any other characteristic protected by law. FVLH is an independent living facility for seniors (62+).
